Stay away from thread counts less than 200. The thread count defines how smooth a sheet is and may be misleading about quality. Be sure the pile is a little thicker or you will be sure to have some issues with wear if they are no thick enough. A high quality fabric such as an Egyptian cotton is the best. It is heavenly to sleep on. You deserve a little bit of heaven when resting your weary body after a hard days work. Besides, the more comfortable you are, the better you will sleep.
